Throughout Sentiments+, you may see a sequence of six digits next to or near set names. This is typically the stamp set's item number. An example is shown in the image below (Item 1).
- Each stamp set has a unique item number.
- We generally display item numbers in this format: (#NNNNNN) where each "N" is a numeral.
- In most cases, to help clarify that a number is an item number, it is shown with the pound (hashtag) mark before it and in parentheses.
- On physical stamp sets, you can find the item number on the packaging. It's typically on the front near the bottom of the paper insert.
Good to know
- Item number sequences do not always match the order in which products are released.
- Item numbers are not UPCs or ISBNs and have no meaning outside of the Stampin' Up! universe.
- Items may get a new item number if they are updated or changed, but this is rare for stamp sets.
- You can search by item number in the search tool.
